The garden is young and maturing quickly. Fruit trees (lime, lemon, mango, grapefruit, sour sop, starfruit, crebu); Palms (Royal, coconut, travelling and fishtail), non-fruit trees (Flamboyant, ficus), Birds of paradise(Heliconia), gingers, podocarpus, Bougainvillea, Aralia Malaya. alamanda, hibiscus garden with rare hybrids , crotons, cactus, Hong Kong orchid, exora, vines and other fascinating plants – most are species that you don’t see in the north. (2010 update - the real iguanas ate the hibiscus - the owner iguanas had a karmic dilemma - chase off the real iguanas or sacrifice the rare hybrids - so - don't expect to see hibiscus)
Placencia is a water lover’s paradise and 3 Iguanas Villa has it all. The Villa is on a finger of land with water within steps of the house - front and back. The channel, with a 75’ private dock is ideal for a quick dip, a morning swim or afternoon frolic. The dockside palapa gives lots of shade for parents who want to be near their kids as they play in the water with the hand-crafted local dories or water toys.

The dock provides good swimming and sunning, a deep water boat tie-up, and an easy drop-off/pick-up site for your diving and snorkelling excursions.
